价值一亿三的玛瑙雏鸡

　　2001年6月，75岁的张靖把他珍藏的一万多方奇石捐献给了北京市朝阳区政府，其中珍、稀、奇、特、精品、极品、绝品一千多方。而且，仅一方玛瑙雏鸡(一只可爱的小鸡正在破壳，好奇地伸出脑袋向这个世界张望)就价值1.3亿元，“外星人”价值3000万元，静静地闭目沉思的坐佛、正张开四蹄向辽阔的草原飞驰的奔马和敲之有金石之声的飞碟石也都价值数千元。

　　80年代初，一个偶然的机会,张靖迷路“掉”进了玛瑙湖——腾格里大沙漠中的一个洼地。张靖就是在这里发现了这些奇异的石头——我国藏石界罕见的风凌石、戈壁石。但不是到玛瑙湖里拣一块石头就是宝贝，为了它们，张靖曾几十次出入玛瑙湖，那里没有水源，没有人烟。深入大漠是有性命危险的，有好多次他和狼群长久对峙，且有好多次险些死在那里。

An Agate Chick Worth RMB 130 Million

　　In June 2001, 75-year-old Zhang Jing contributed more than 10000 pieces of strange stones collected by him to the Government of Chaoyang District of Beijing City, China. More than 1000 of them are the fine, unique, rare, strange and special stones. For example, the agate chick only is worth RMB 130 million (this is a lifelike agate chick pecking the eggshell and craning its neck to look around). The stone that looks like a man from other planet is worth RMB 30 million. The statue of Buddha sitting with his closed eyes, the rare stones of horse and the flying saucer are worth RMB several thousands.

　　In early 1980’s, as he lost his way, he accidentally went to a place named the Agate Lake——a depression in vast Tenggli desert of China. In this place Zhang Jing discovered these rare stones named the Fengling Stone, and the Gobi Stone in China. But, not all of the stones in the Agate Lake are the rare stones. In order to look for the rare stones, Zhang Jing went to the Agate Lake for tens of times although he knew that the vast expanse of desert would take his life accidentally. There are no water, and no signs of human in the Agate Lake. He confronted many times with crowds of wolves and he nearly died there many times. 

最大的古石龙

　　2002年9月，经专家鉴定得知，在河北省邯郸县三陵乡姜窑村卧龙坡下开掘出一古石龙群，为首的大龙总长约369米，高2.5米，宽4.6米,现已发掘出100米龙体。这条石龙被国家文物研究院专家团认定为世界上体形最大、最古、最复杂的石龙。大龙旁边共有4条裸露的龙，南边有双头龙，北边有3条小龙，均有两三百米长，尚有其他小龙和鱼、蛇等。

　　此群龙与五陵台、落凤坡、五龙庙等邯郸的成语典故、神话和民间传说有关联。河北省著名书法家陈茂才闻讯后欣然命笔：“天下第一龙”。

The Largest Stone Dragon in the World

　　In September 2002, according to the expert’s conclusion, a group of ancient stone dragons were unearthed from the Sleeping Dragon Slope in Jiangyao Village of Handan Cicy in Hebei Province, China. Among them the largest stone dragon is about 369 m in length, 2.5 m in height and 4.6 m in width. A section of it unearthed amounts to 100 m in length. The experts group from the State Research Institute of Cultural Relic confirmed that the huge stone dragon was the largest, oldest and most complicated in the world.

　　There are 4 uncovered or partly exposed small stone dragons by the huge stone dragon. A dragon with two heads is in the south of it, 3 small ones are in the north of it. And there are also stone fishes, snakes and other small dragons by the huge stone dragon.

　　The group of stone dragons is related to the idioms, myths and folk legends which are very popular among the people in Handan City. At that year, upon hearing the news, Chen Maocai, a famous calligrapher of Hebei Province, China wrote happily: “The largest dragon in the world.”
