咬着头羊尾巴偷走羊群的恶狼

        2001年春天，新疆阿勒泰牧区下了一场特大的雪，野狼十分凶残，它们三五成群，趁着黑夜，潜入牧民的牲畜圈棚，将羊的喉咙咬断吸血，然后扬长而去。有些狡猾的狼甚至能用爪子将羊圈门闩拨开，咬住头羊的尾巴将一群羊全部赶走。2000年冬至2001年春，阿勒泰牧区有1500只羊被野狼吃掉或咬死。

A Wolf Captures a Flock of Sheep

        In the spring of 2001, a heavy snow visited the Aletai Grassland of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. Very fierce and cruel wolves took advantage of night to slip into the livestock sheds or folds, bit throats of sheep and suck their blood, and then fled away. Some of sly wolves even could move the door bolt of sheep shed or fold with its claws and open it. Some could hold the tail of a bellwether in its mouth to capture a flock of sheep. A total of about 1500 sheep were eaten or bitten to death in Aletai Grassland from the winter of 2000 to the spring of 2001.

狗长“犄角”

        2003年9月，沈阳老张家的小狗儿冬冬耳朵背后长出两个长16厘米的“犄角”——两根带硬芯的小辫儿，一段粗一段细很均匀。

A 2-horned Pup

        Dongdong, a pup raised by the old Zhangs in Shenyang City of China, grew two horns about 16 cm in length behind its two ears in September 2003. In fact, the two horns were two proportional small braids of hard cores. They were thick in one section and thin in another.
